HOLLYWOOD LASER
The Hollywood Spectra Laser® is a type of laser skin treatment used primarily for pigmentation, skin rejuvenation and treating various skin concerns. It utilises a Q-switched Nd: YAG laser technology, which emits short bursts of high-energy light to target specific pigments and cells in the skin.
This advanced laser offers a wide range of treatment options such as This advanced laser offers a wide range of treatment options such as Hollywood Laser Peel® & Multi Depth Focus Treatments (MDF):
The benefits of a Hollywood Laser Treatment include:
Reducing pigmentation (melasma)
Reducing the signs of ageing (fine lines) (MDF)
Improving the appearance of pores and skin texture (MDF)
Improving the appearance of acne scars (MDF)
Reducing sebum production & acne-causing bacteria (Hollywood Laser Peel®)
HOLLYWOOD LASER TREATMENT FOR PIGMENTATION
Hollywood Spectra® utilises a Q-switched Nd laser platform that can be adjusted to target pigment while minimising thermal injury to surrounding tissue. The treatment may also be used to support improvements in overall skin quality as part of a personalised treatment plan.
The 1064 nm wavelength has been investigated for the management of pigmentary conditions, including melasma. Unlike some laser modalities that may carry a higher risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation, low-fluence Q-switched Nd laser treatments have been studied as a treatment option for selected patients with melasma, particularly when combined with appropriate skincare and sun protection measures.
PROGRESSIVE results with reduced risk of rebound pigmentation.
In your journey with Hollywood Spectra Laser treatment, you will likely benefit from progressive improvements over time rather than one dramatic change. While some patients notice a glow even after the first Hollywood Laser Treatment, optimal results are achieved through a series of sessions. During each Hollywood Laser treatment, mild heat and controlled injury stimulate collagen remodelling, which continues in the weeks afterwards, gradually refining pores, softening fine lines, and evening skin tone. Our team will guide you on the ideal cadence and aftercare to support your skin’s healing and sustained results.

FAQS HOLLYWOOD SPECTRA LASER
-
The Hollywood Laser Peel® is a non-invasive skin treatment that uses laser technology and a carbon-based lotion to deeply cleanse, exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin.
-
MDF (Multi-Depth Focus) is a specialised fractional handpiece used with the Hollywood Spectra® Q-switched 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser. Unlike traditional resurfacing lasers that remove the outer layers of skin, MDF delivers ultra-short laser pulses at multiple depths within the skin to create controlled microscopic treatment zones while leaving the skin surface largely intact. This process has been investigated for its ability to stimulate the skin's natural repair response and collagen remodelling, making it a treatment option for concerns such as acne scarring, enlarged pores, uneven skin texture, fine lines, and overall skin quality. Because the surrounding tissue remains unaffected, MDF is generally associated with a shorter recovery period than many traditional ablative laser resurfacing procedures. Studies have reported improvements in acne scars, pore size, and skin texture following a series of treatments, with a favourable safety profile across a range of skin types when performed by appropriately trained clinicians.
