  • Rejuran is classed by the TGA as a device in Australia, is suitable for patients looking to address fine lines and overall skin texture and health.

    Rejuran is not suitable for patients pregnant or breast feeding, autoimmune disorders, active skin conditions, or blood disorders.

    Rejuran can be used in patients with Shellfish or seafood allergies. A consultation with a medical practitioner is essential to deem suitability prior to having treatment.

  • The duration of treatment is 30-45 minutes, prior to treatment numbing cream is applied to minimise discomfortImproved skin tone and texture

    Initially 3 treatments are required 2-3 weeks apart, followed by 6-12 monthly maintains.

  • Downtime post treatment varies with individuals, but you will have have small lumps under the skin like a mosquito bite, these usually subside within 24 hrs. 

    Bruising and swelling – mild swelling is common but resolves within a few days. Whilst we take precautions to avoid bruising it may still occur. If bruising occurs this usually subsides within a few days.

    Post treatment you can resume normal daily activities.

  • Rejuran is microdroplet injections and a topical anaesthetic is applied 15 min prior making the treatment very comfortable.

  • Rejuran is a slow burn but it’s worth the wait! Initially 3-4 treatments, each 3 weeks apart is required, and full results are achieved 12 weeks after the final treatment. Maintenance is then 1-2 treatments annually.

  • As with any procedure, Rejuran treatment carries potential risks and side effects. Common and expected short-term effects may include redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, discomfort, itching, small bumps or raised areas at the injection sites, pinpoint bleeding, and temporary skin sensitivity.

    Less commonly, patients may experience prolonged swelling, persistent redness, infection, allergic or hypersensitivity reactions, delayed inflammatory responses, skin discoloration (including post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation), acneiform eruptions, herpes simplex reactivation in susceptible individuals, granuloma or nodule formation, scarring, asymmetry, and unsatisfactory cosmetic outcomes. Although rare, there is also a risk of injury to underlying blood vessels, nerves, or surrounding structures associated with any injectable treatment.

    Downtime, side effects, and treatment outcomes vary between individuals, and a consultation with a qualified health practitioner is required to determine suitability and discuss the potential benefits, risks, and alternative treatment options.
